The Quilt

There were some Pioneers and everyday while they were riding in their horse powered wagon, they added a quilt piece to tell about their adventure. The red square is for when someone dies. The blue square is for when people drown in the water. The brown, is for mud. The green is for when they stopped and played in the grass. The grey is for when it was raining. The magenta was for my birthday! The yellow is for a sunny day. The orange is for when we found orange dandelions. The white is for when we passed a herd of sheep. The black is for when we had a sickness. What an adventure we had!

The Picture

Once there was a girl named, Laurel. She drew a beautiful picture. When an artist saw the picture, he said that it belonged in an Art Gallery. She became famous. Laurel didnt really like being famous, she missed her friends, family, and riding her bike. Everyone loved her but she missed her family. She invited her family to dinner for a feast! There was turkey, chicken, potatoes, candy and other treats! Laurel said "I will visit Hollywood, but I really miss you guys. So, I am going to go home and come back in the summer. I have to go to school, I missed some days. A child belongs to school when it's not summer, during the summer a child can go wherever she wants."
The End.
